 Extensively covered politics in Bengal, maintaining contacts in all significant political entities in the state - the Trinamool Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party and the Sangh Parivar, the Left and the Congress, as also various small, locally influential political outfits and socio-economic and religious organizations.

 Travelled across the length and breadth of the state to cover political and socio-economic developments and have developed contacts in almost all districts. I have also been closely monitoring and reporting on developments related to Left Wing Extremism, religious fundamentalism, and terrorist activities across India.

 Explored and filed stories on the Saradha Chit Fund scam, Kolkata Port business fiascos, and government decisions on policies. Exposed the fake art racket with a series of investigative stories.
